Dear friends and art lovers,

 

La Galerie Africaine is pleased to present, for the very first time, the world of Célia “Malice” Agboloto. Through pointillism, the artist constructs a body of work where each dot becomes a trace of identity, memory, and encounter.

Born in 1986, originally from Martinique and Togo, her encounter with this neo-impressionist technique dates back to 2009, during a tattoo training course.

Her compositions arise from a dialogue between colors, evoking the infinite nuances of melanin and the richness of human singularities, a visual language based on accumulation and interlacing. Each element exists individually while participating in a collective, organic, and vibrant construction.
